The terms under which J. & R. Crystals operate are as follows

It will be the responsibility of all vendors to deliver the crystal for sale to us for inspection prior to listing.

We do reserve the right to reject any crystal because of its physical condition,
or because of an unreasonably high price expectation by the vendor.

Repairs

In the event that we arrange for repairs on behalf of, and with the consent of the owner of the crystal, we will submit to the owner an invoice for repairs which must be paid before any further action such as listing or return to the owner will take place

We will advertise all crystal for sale on our website, and in occasional printed publications.
All advertised prices are in Australian Dollars
(AUD)

Enquiries and orders
may be made by telephone, fax, email or mail at any time.

We do not have a showroom, and cannot make over-the-counter sales.
We may make special arrangements to meet those customers who desire
to leave or pick up crystal personally.

How to make purchases
Just phone, fax or email us with your requirements.
Payment will always be made in advance of shipping, and may be by Cheque or Money Order,
by Direct Deposit to our Bank Account, or by Bankcard, MasterCard,or Visa.
We do not recommend sending credit card numbers by email.

For purchasers outside Australia, payment will be made by direct deposit to our bank.
We will be happy to discuss with you the relative merits of the various pieces
in the catalogue prior to purchase.

Normally, we will post your crystal on the same day as you order it, or on the next business day.
Unless requested otherwise, all deliveries within Australia will be by registered, insured parcel post.
The Cost of packing and postage is to the account of the purchaser, and generally works out in the range 3 - 4 % of the purchase cost within Australia, except in the case of very small parcels where a $10 minimum applies.
In the event that we make a personal delivery of the crystal purchased, a charge equivalent to the postage charge may be made.
Delivery of parcels whose value exceeds $5000 may be subject to special negotiation with the purchaser.
Deliveries outside Australia will normally be made by International Courier,
but may be subject to negotiation with the purchaser.
Any Import or Customs duties or taxes will be the resposibility of the purchaser.

We will undertake to pay the Vendors of all crystal sold within 2 weeks of completion of a sale.

We will deduct from the selling price of all crystal sold 15% as our selling commission,
plus 1.5% Goods and Services Tax - a total of 16.5%

Should there be any discrepancy between the description of the Crystal ordered,
and the Crystal delivered, such discrepancy must be notified to us within 48 hours of receipt.
If the Crystal is to be returned to us for any reason, it must be dispatched to us within a maximum of two days from the date of receipt.
We will undertake to replace, or refund the purchase cost of any Crystal subject to such dispute, provided that the above conditions are met, and provided that we are satisfied that the returned Crystal is the Crystal originally sent, and provided that the crystal is returned to us in the condition in which it was sent.

Boxes and Certificates are sold on
as-is condition - returns will not be accepted on the basis of the condition of box and/or certificate.
